Constipation / Diarrhea / Abdominal Bloating / Lower Abdominal Pain...
Information on Bad Bowels
Struggling with lower bowel symptoms of constipation, or diarrhea; along with bloating, gas and pain just doesn't make for pleasent pre-dinner drink conversation. Yet, close to 20 percent of North Americans suffer. For many, it is a hidden disablity.
When the cause for these symptoms cannot be found by your physician, then the doctor often will label the problem as a functional GI (gastro-intestinal) disorder. This overreaching label may get further defined as:
-
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
-
Slow-Transit Constipation (STC)
-
Functional Fecal Retention (FFR)
