Awareness
GPDA generates awareness though media releases, our public service announcements (PSA) and our proclamation declaring May as Digestive Motility Awareness Month. As well, in May 2008, GPDA sponsored an 8 page supplement in the Calgary Herald and Edmonton Journal, reaching over 300,000 homes in Alberta, to help educate the public about digestive motility diseases and disorders.
Each year: May is Digestive Motility Awareness Month
Help us spread the word!
During the month of May, we ask people to participate. Be innovative. Set-up a booth, or table at your Church, community center or where you work. Print off materials from our Web site and help educate the people in your community regarding digestive motility diseases and disorders.
